Haunted houses, the Westminster Festival of Fine Art and lots of horror-themed markets, movies and more are coming to venues around Salem in October.

September is the season for big park gatherings in Salem with the Salem Art Fair, Punx in the Park, Pride in the Park and Viva Salem.

In August, you can celebrate science, plants and art at Englewood Forest Festival or catch multiple new plays on local stages. Plus, the Oregon State Fair returns.

July events include Fourth of July fireworks, Hoopla and The Great Oregon Steam-Up.

June activities in Salem include World Beat, Make Music Day, a Pride Block Party and dozens of live music shows, comedians and more entertainment.
