In its first April meeting, the Polk County Commission will review several rights of way in Buena Vista, an unincorporated community in the county.

Commissioners will also consider the legalization of Black Rock Road. That was because a recent road project found the location of portions of the road didn’t directly line up with the right of way. The process will move the right of way to come inline with the roadway.

As usual, the commission will conclude its meeting in executive session, where it can privately discuss issues like personnel matters or the purchase of property.

The commission will not hold its regular work session and meeting next week.

Meeting details: Wednesday, March 3 at 9 a.m. at the Polk County Courthouse, 850 S Main St., Dallas.

Commission members: Mike Ainsworth, Craig Pope, Lyle Mordhorst.
