Salem’s newest music festival is returning for 2022, with a lineup featuring punk and ska bands from New York City, Oakland and Los Angeles.

MIG Fest, held at Minto Island Growers, is scheduled for July 16, 2022. The festival began last summer.

The lineup announced Tuesday features headlining band The Slackers, a New York City band formed in 1991 that describes itself as “self styled masters of Reggae, Ska and Rock’n’Roll,” according to the band’s website.

Also featured are ska band Matamoska, from Los Angeles; southern California ska-punk band Bite Me Bambi, Oakland rockers Year Of The Fist, and Salem’s City of Pieces.

Tickets will be limited to 200 attendees and are not yet on sale.
