A man who works for a nonprofit aiming to depolarize America will share his insights with the League of Women Voters of Marion and Polk Counties Wednesday.
Join the group on Zoom at 7 p.m. March 16.
Terry Busch, a management consultant and workshop facilitator for nonprofit Braver Angels, will share what his experience has taught him to work in defusing heated rhetoric and broaden the perspectives of others. Following his presentation, the group will discuss the points he brought up.
Busch has a Ph.D. in political science from Miami University and was an assistant professor of political science at Denison University. He served in Germany and Vietnam as an Army Medical Service Corps officer, and then spent 28 years as a leadership expert and senior executive with the Central Intelligence Agency.
His most recent book is titled, “What the Best Managers Know and Do.”
