More than 65 participants gathered at the Jackman-Long building at the Oregon State Fairgrounds on Saturday morning for the Oregon’s Strongest Man and Woman 2022 competition.

After a one-year pandemic hiatus, athletes competed in six events for points, including a sandbag toss, squat for reps, truck push and viking press. Voices filled the room as spectators and competitors cheered on participants while they took their turns competing on side by side squat racks and judges called out the reps.
