Legislature's HR director retires, gets work-at-home deal worth $12,000 a month

A state investigation found that Lore Christopher, the Oregon Legislature director of human resources, didn't fully act on harassment complaints that have embroiled the Capitol and cost taxpayers more than $1 million. An investigation by the Oregon Capital Bureau established she struck a retirement deal last fall, and will be paid for several months to work from home.
