The Polk County Commission will consider a resolution that would fund community mediation services, according to its agenda.

That is the lone item for the public portion of its Wednesday meeting. As it often does, the commission will end its weekly meeting in executive session, where it can discuss things like land purchases or employee issues in private.

Meeting details: Wednesday, March 20 at 9 a.m. at the Polk County Courthouse, 850 S Main St., Dallas.

Commission members: Mike Ainsworth, Craig Pope, Lyle Mordhorst.
