Santiam Hospital and Clinics is offering to Covid tests to anyone, no longer requiring a doctor’s order.
The hospital said it received feedback that it was challenging to find tests.
Patients are asked to pre-register online at www.labdash.net and show the QR Code provided when they arrive at the testing site.
The testing site is in the gravel parking lot behind Foothills Church at 975 Fern Ridge Rd. in Stayton. The hours are Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Call 503-769-3230 to schedule an appointment in order to avoid longer wait times. Walk-ins will not be turned away.
The hospital is offering saliva-based testing, so no nasal swabs required. Patients are asked not to eat, drink, smoke, vape or chew tobacco for at least 30 minutes prior to testing. Results will be available in 24-72 hours via email.
