The Polk County Commission will take public testimony on proposed changes to its subdivision, partition and zoning ordinances to comply with new changes in state law. The change would allow an exception to the minimum parcel size in certain zones.

The commission will also vote on personnel rule changes before finishing the meeting in executive session. Public bodies can use executive session to privately discuss things like personnel discipline or purchase of property.

Meeting details: Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. at the Polk County Courthouse, 850 S Main St., Dallas.

Commission members: Mike Ainsworth, Craig Pope, Lyle Mordhorst.
