At it’s weekly meeting, the Polk County Commission will vote on appointing several candidates to positions within the county.
Commissioners will consider Kevin Chambers for the West Valley Housing Authority board, Abby Weekly for the planning commission, reappointing Michael Schilling to the planning commission and reappointing Angie Docherty to the Polk County Health Advisory Board.
The commission will also vote on approval of a contract with Salem Health West Valley to reimburse Polk County for screening patients at West Valley emergency room.
The commission will end its meeting in executive session where it can privately discuss things like personnel discipline or purchase of property.
Meeting details: Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Polk County Courthouse, 850 S Main St., Dallas.
