Detectives investigating Tuesday night shooting in Four Corners area

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting Tuesday night that left a Salem man hospitalized.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, the sheriff’s office said in a Wednesday news release.

A 911 caller around 10:41 p.m. reported a shooting in the Four Corners area in southeast Salem.

Salem Police Department officers found the victim during a traffic stop while sheriff’s deputies were responding to the area, the news release said.

Detectives from the sheriff’s office were called to investigate the shooting and learned it occurred on Agate Drive Southeast near Warbler Drive Southeast.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
