AGENDA: Marion County commissioner to get flu shot during Wednesday meeting, approve contracts

The Marion County Board of Commissioners meets Wednesday to consider several contracts and hear a presentation on the annual flu shot.

AGENDA

The board will hear a presentation on the importance of receiving the annual flu shot and a commissioner will get a shot. The agenda didn’t specify which commissioner would get the vaccine.

They will consider approving a $760,000 contract with LocumTenens.com to provide qualified candidates to fill temporary medical staff positions in behavioral health programs and alcohol and drug treatment programs through Sept. 30, 2024.

Commissioners will consider approving a $800,000 contract with Garten Services, Inc. for janitorial services at various county locations through Sept. 30, 2024. 

They will consider a $125,000 agreement with Navia Benefit Solutions to provide third party administrative services for certain employee benefit plans that are maintained by the county through Dec. 31, 2026.

They will also consider approving a $874,982 contract with David Evans and Associates, Inc. for engineering services for the Hazelgreen Road NE/Pudding River Bridge Replacement project through Oct. 31, 2025.
