The Daue House Gift Shop, run by the Assistance League of Salem-Keizer, is scaling back its hours due to difficulty finding enough volunteers to run the shop.

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 1, the gift shop will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, according to a news release. The shop is located at 1095 Saginaw St. S. and supports other Assistance League programs in the Salem area.

The shop previously opened at 10 a.m.

The Daue House’s monthly Porch Sale clearance event will now operate the first Saturday of each month from noon to 3 p.m., the release said.

Consignments will continue to be accepted Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Consigners will sign up on a list by the shop’s back door and will receive a call or text to come in one at a time to limit the number of people in the shop.
