Western Oregon University undergraduates can now earn admission to Willamette University’s law school – and a $10,000 annual scholarship – under a new agreement between the two schools.

WOU students seeking a law degree must meet academic requirements, including completing a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.2 grade point average at the university and a Law School Admissions Test score at or above the 50th percentile for Willamette’s most recent class of law students.

Students who meet the criteria will gain admission to Willamette and be eligible to renew their scholarship for each year of law school.

The universities inked the agreement July 20.

“We are so pleased to partner with WOU and give its talented students and alumni a transparent path to law school admission,” Willamette Law Dean Brian Gallini said in a prepared statement. “WOU graduates have always had great success at Willamette, and we hope this partnership will provide future WOU graduates with enhanced access to a legal education.”
