Oregon taxpayers can get in-person help once again

Oregon taxpayers can once again get in-person help at Department of Revenue offices in Salem and around the state.

On July 12, the department is resuming walk-in help at the customer service windows located in the lobby of its main building in Salem, 955 Center Street N.E., according to a news release. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers don’t have to wear masks.

Customers can also get walk-in help at field offices in Bend, Gresham, Eugene, and Medford. The Portland office will continue to require appointments.

The Department of Revenue has an online portal where taxpayers can view letters sent by the department, start appeals, make payments or ask questions. People needing help can also email [email protected] or call 503-378-4988.
