Murals created Saturday by two Salem graffiti artists to promote Covid vaccination are now on display outside the state fairgrounds.

Artists Eric Tautkus and Chris Casarez created the works June 19 as part of an event called “Public Health, Public Art,” a collaboration between the Salem Art Association and Salem Health.

Tautkus’ mural is called “Save Lives,” and Casarez’s is called ““Commit to Wellness.” The artists worked with spray paint on plastic sheets over several hours.
