The Marion County Fair will be back this year and is looking for volunteers to help staff information booths, assist with public competitions and more.

From July 9 to 11 the fair, held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, will showcase local 4-H and FFA programs, public competitions, music, carnival rides and others.

“Whatever your interests are, no matter your ability, or how much time you can give there is a way for everyone to make a difference at the fair,” said Tamra Goettsch, Marion County Community Services director, in a statement.

Volunteer shifts available each day from morning through evening hours. To sign-up for specific days and shifts visit bit.ly/3vX4zyI.

All volunteers will receive a parking pass, a volunteer t-shirt, admission to the fair for the day they volunteer, and an additional ticket so they can enjoy the fair another day as a visitor.
