The school, located at 6974 Bates Road, has been owned by the district since 1952 and formerly operated as Rosedale Elementary School before it was closed due to budget cuts during the Great Recession. The school board approved a sale of the property last March, but it wasn’t completed due to the pandemic. Keizer resident Joanne Cunningham is listed as the buyer.

Board members will also hear updates on school discipline data and district plans for spending Student Success Act money.

The board will vote on appointing Larry Trott to serve on the Willamette Educational Service District Board of Directors and approve a proclamation for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

To participate: The meeting takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 11. The meeting is hybrid, with some board members and district employees attending in person, but the public may watch online. Public comment may be submitted using this form until noon Monday, May 10.

The meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube at the links below and on CC:Media, channel 21.
