Author, mediator and university professor Chad Ford will speak in Salem April 14 about transforming conflict with love.
Ford is the author of “Dangerous Love: Transforming Fear and Conflict at Home, at Work, and in the World.” His work focuses on teaching people to move past fear when differences arise, and draws on his experience mediating international conflicts over decades.
His talk is sponsored by the Community Business and Education Leaders, a group formed in 2019 by Mountain West Investment Corporation president Larry Tokarski to improve community health and education in Salem.
The talk is on Wednesday, April 14 from 3:30-5 p.m. Limited seats are available in-person at the Seymour Center, 3737 Portland Road NE, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anyone may register to watch the talk as a webinar. Registration is open here.
