Pacific Power will begin offering financial assistance programs to customers struggling because of the pandemic.

The programs include a one-time bill credit of up to $500. Also offered is a program that matches back payments on past-due bills up to $1,000, according to a company press release.

The utility company, which serves residents of Marion County, will be reaching out to customers and communities particularly affected by job losses or illness. Customers worried about their ability to pay should contact the company at 888-221-7070.
