A couple of contracts involving public health and mental health services will headline the Marion County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting Wednesday.
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday and can be viewed on YouTube.
Commissioners will consider whether to approve an intergovernmental agreement with the Oregon Health Authority for public health services to add $83,846 in funding from an OHA amendment.
The money provides $10,000 for emergency preparedness and response, $10,000 for the Woman, Infants & Children nutritional program, and $63,723 for flu prevention. The new contract total would be $9.5 million.
The commissioners will also consider approving a $308,880 contract with Dr. Kay Lynn Dieter to assess and supervise people in adult mental health services until Jan. 2022.
