Free Covid tests available Wednesday afternoon at state fairgrounds

Free Covid tests are available Wednesday afternoon at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem.

From 3-6 p.m., anyone can get a test at the drive-through event, held at 2330 17th St. NE. No identification is required, and you do not need to have symptoms to be tested. Preregistration is encouraged by calling Enedina Lopez from the Interface Network at 503-910-4908, or by visiting www.doineedacovid19test.com.

The testing event is sponsored by Marion County, Interface Network, Salem Health Foundation, Oregon Health Authority, and Oregon Department of Human Services.

Free tests will also be available in Woodburn Saturday, Dec. 19 at Centennial Park, 900 Parr Rd NE, starting at 10 a.m.

Polk County will hold a free testing event at the Polk County Fairgrounds Dec. 29 from 3-6 p.m. Tests will be available in building C at 520 Pacific Highway, Rickreall. Preregistration is required through www.doineedacovid19test.com.
