AGENDA: Salem Public Library Advisory Board to talk public art, open house

The Salem Public Library Advisory Board meets Wednesday, Feb. 12 to discuss public art and an upcoming open house for the new library space on 1440 Broadway St. N.E.

Two board members will be sharing their experience selecting an artist for a piece of public art that will be displayed at the main library when it re-opens in the summer of 2021.

The board will discuss an open house for the new library space held on March 14.

There will also be discussion about streamlining the agenda.

The meeting is open to the public and the agenda can be viewed online.

Meeting Details: Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at 1400 Broadway St. N.E.

Board members: Francine Boullosa, Gretchen Coppedge, Katherine Daniels, Bill Distad, Louise Newswanger, Sigrid Olsen, Jeffrey Skrysak, Lois Stark and Callen Sterling.
