Three men shot in east Salem Tuesday night, one still in critical condition, sheriff’s office says

Three men were shot in east Salem Tuesday night, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies arrived at Northeast Snoopy Lane and Linus Court around 11 p.m. to find a man driving a Chrysler 300 had crashed into a parked car. The driver had an apparent gunshot wound to the head, Marion County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jeremy Landers said.

The victim taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Two other men arrived at Salem Health with gunshot wounds. Both were treated and released, according to police.

Landers said the sheriff’s office isn’t releasing more information about the shooting at this time. No arrests have been made.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit have taken over the investigation.
