Pioneering leader who expanded care to homeless Salemites retires
Good evening, Salem.
Fall weather is here in earnest, and our minds are on pumpkins, falling leaves and candy.
We know a number of civic groups, churches and other organizations are planning fall festivals and trunk or treat events.
As we have in previous years, we're planning to put together a list so families know where they can go for candy, Halloween fun and fall celebrations later this month.
If you have a free community Halloween event, carnival or other fall-themed, kid-friendly event with candy, please send the details to Madeleine Moore at [email protected].
Please include the date, time, location and a description of activities or what people should expect.
We need information by Friday, Oct. 16 to be included.
