Marion County's crisis response team wants more people to call them
Good evening, Salem.
Nearly 14,000 of you have already cast your ballots in this race.
That's according to the Oregon Secretary of State's office, which publishes a daily tally of ballots returned until Election Day, Nov. 5.
As of Wednesday morning, the totals are 12,477 for Marion County, about 5.5% of registered voters, and 1,405 for Polk County, 2.2% of registered voters. (Polk County typically gets ballots in the mail a day or so later than Marion County, but generally has slightly higher turnout by the time the election is finished.)
Statewide, 143,496 Oregonians have voted, 4.7% of all registered voters.
