The Urban Development Department is reviewing plans for the city-owned "Block 45," a 1.1 acre block which sits next to Pringle Creek and Riverfront Park in south downtown. Applications closed Nov. 5, and the city expects to announce a finalist in 2025.

We've filed a public records request for the proposals and will keep you posted as we learn more about major plans for Salem's development.
