Good evening, Salem.

Icy roads and Oregon drivers can be a perilous combination.

Snow is in the forecast overnight, and while it's not likely to stick around, cold temperatures and slick roads may be in the cards.

If local schools start late Wednesday, the Salem-Keizer School District will notify families through ParentSquare and on social media channels, generally by 5:30 a.m. Schools will start at these times, which are one hour later than regular Wednesday start times. More information is on the district website.

We'll keep an eye on the roads as weather develops, and you can find more information about snowy weather resources in our story below.
