Local moms promote safe gun storage to protect kids
Good evening, Salem.
The Salem Poetry Festival returns tomorrow for the first time since before the pandemic. Poets from Salem, Portland, Eugene and beyond will come for a series of free readings and workshops.
The grassroots event is in partnership with Willamette University's Hallie Ford Ford Literary Series and Dwell Press and the Salem Art Association. Events will be at the university, the Bush Barn Art Center and at IKE Box Café.
The festival starts Thursday evening, Feb. 27, and goes until Saturday evening, March 1. See the full lineup in the image below, and see the festival's Facebook page for more information.
