Wells Fargo to close Salem office, laying off 221 workers
Good evening, Salem.
A tsunami warning that was briefly in effect for the southern Oregon Coast on Thursday has been lifted.
The warning came after a 7.0 earthquake registered off the coast of Eureka, California, prompting evacuations in some areas of the northern California and southern Oregon coast.
Oregonians as far away as Medford reported feeling the quake, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. In Salem, meanwhile, the forecast continues to be foggy and cold, with stagnant air expected to stick around through Friday night.
