Police say Salem man behind arson, shooting at Tesla dealership
Good morning, Salem.
A Salem man is facing a federal firearm charge after authorities accused him of throwing Molotov cocktails at Salem's Tesla dealership in January and shooting its windows in February.
In a criminal complaint from Portland U.S. District Court, the man, Adam M. Lansky, 41, is accused of throwing at least seven suspected Molotov cocktails at the dealership and pointing a rifle at a witness.
A federal investigation led to Lansky's arrest Tuesday in Salem and had his first appearance in federal court Wednesday. Our story below has more on the police investigation.
