Evictions up in Oregon, Eagle Charter students showcase work
Good morning, Salem.
We've spent the past day gathering accounts of the Union Gospel Mission mass stabbing Sunday night. As a community service, we're making that work free for all and have included it below.
On a lighter note, if the summer weather has your creative juices flowing, Artists in Action might be looking for your talents.
The Salem nonprofit is registering artists to participate in its annual Paint and Write the Town Event. Participating artists submit works created at various outdoor locations over the summer, including natural areas, wineries and farms. Works are shown at a gallery in the fall.
Registration is open and artwork must be submitted by Sept. 10. More information is available on the AIA website.
