Suspect in murder had history of domestic violence, police say
Good morning, Salem.
The NOH8 campaign is coming to town this weekend for an open photo shoot.
People interested in showing their support for the LGBTQ community can pose for a photo on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1444 Liberty St. S.E.
"Photographer Adam Bouska began the NOH8 movement in 2008 in response to the passage of California’s Proposition 8, an effort to ban same-sex marriage, and has since grown as a stand against discrimination and bullying of all kinds," an event listing said.
Photos cost $40 solo or $25 per person for couples or groups. People being photographed should wear a plain white shirt. More information is available here.
