Oregon cities want leeway on homeless camps, hotel taxes
Good morning, Salem.
The city is rolling out a new utility billing software today. You'll now be able to pay for water and sewer using Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay, among other options.
If your bill was on autopay, the information won't transfer over. You'll need to set up a profile in the new system to keep your bill on autopay. More information will be emailed to residents at the email address on file with their account, the city said. The city has information on its website about the shift here.
