Good morning, Salem.

Your Saturday morning coffee could help fight cancer.

Firefighters with Marion County Firefighters Local 2557 will be at the Bentley's Coffee at 1825 Lancaster Dr. N.E. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

They're training for an annual fundraiser held March 9 in Seattle, where firefighters climb 69 stories of the Columbia Tower in full gear.

Firefighters on Saturday will be practicing on a Stairmaster. They'll also have Ladder 31 at the event, fire safety goodie bags and fire helmets for kids, plus therapy dogs Probie and Barney.

Proceeds from coffee sold Saturday will be donated to the fundraiser.
