You could meet your next fluffy best friend at this weekend's Holiday Market.
The annual event, organized by the Salem Saturday Market, features an array of local vendors at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. But the event also includes Adoption Alley - an area with representatives from nine local animal rescue and welfare organizations.
They'll have adoptable animals to meet, information about low-cost spay and neuter services, raffle prizes and more.
The market runs Friday 5:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
