Good morning, Salem.

Next weekend is one of several opportunities this year to go on a bird watching adventure in Salem.

Join the city’s park ranger, Mike Zieker, and the Salem Audubon Society on Saturday, May 3 from 8-10 a.m. at Battle Creek Park.

The undeveloped park is located at 1680 Waln Dr. S.E. in southeast Salem.

If you can’t make it that day, there will be several more opportunities – on the first Saturday of every month through December. You’ll need to read a waiver and sign up online HERE.
