West Salem students practice firefighting, Friends of Felines milestone

Election Day is tomorrow, and turnout remains low. Your votes will determine what happens with the majority of seats on the Salem-Keizer School Board and the future of Salem’s library.
Marion County’s latest report from Wednesday, May 14, showed only 28,985 people had cast their ballots – just 13% of those registered.
If you need help voting, check out our coverage of Salem races and ballot measures here. Here are lists of Marion and Polk County ballot drop box locations. You can also mail your ballot, no stamp needed.
Ballots must be dropped in boxes or put in the mail by 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20. Election officials recommend using drop boxes this close to the deadline.
