Kidnapping suspect shot by Salem police last month charged with attempting to assault officers
Over two weeks ago, a Polk County grand jury found Salem police officers justified in shooting a man suspected of attempted kidnapping in September. Last week, the kidnapping suspect, Daniel Garcia, was moved to Polk County jail where he faces charges including attempted assault.
