On Super Bowl Sunday, visitors to southeast Salem’s Ratchet Brewery watching the big game had the chance to bet on a pint-sized competition for a cause: Salem’s very own Puppy Bowl.
Adoptable puppies from 4 All MuttKind played on a tiny mat in the brewery, and attendees could donate to their favored team for the chance to win a prize basket.
4 All MuttKind Co-Founder Anna Berg said in an email that they received “tons” of adoption applications at the event, which are still being processed, and they raised $160 for the cause.
“The event was such a huge success, with many of our 4 All Muttkind Alumnis attending to show their support, and lots of interested adopters. We always have a blast at our Ratchet Brewery events, and can’t thank them enough for their continued support,” Berg said.
